Dr. Malachowska is a researcher whose expertise spans medicine, biostatistics, and bioinformatics. Graduating from the Medical University of Lodz in 2014, she went on to earn a Ph.D. in Diabetology at the Department of Biostatistics and Translational Medicine.
Her current research endeavors focus on the intricate analysis of single-cell sequencing data, with a particular emphasis on areas such as abdominal radiation syndrome and the search for radiation countermeasures. These efforts underscore her dedication to addressing critical medical challenges in oncology and advancing our understanding of complex biological processes like cell-cell communication. At Einstein, she is a Co-President of Women Networking Group, senator representative for postdocs, and a member of Omics Club.
Throughout her academic journey, Dr. Malachowska has received prestigious awards such as the ISPAD JDRF Fellowship Award and the L’Oreal-UNESCO for Women in Science Poland Award, recognizing her contributions to the field. Her achievements also encompass the START Scholarship from the Foundation for Polish Science, recognizing her as one of the top 100 scientists under 30 in Poland.
